The Board of Directors of Osakidetza Basque Health Service has appointed as Director of Healthcare Arraiza Antonio Armendariz, who until now was Managing Director of the Integrated Healthcare Organization (OSI) Alto Deba.

This OSI is comprised of the Hospital Alto Deba and four Primary Care Units, which provide health care to the Shire Gipuzkoa the same name.

Arraiza Antonio Armendariz is Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valladolid and specialist in Family and Community Medicine. Throughout his career he has held senior managers in both public health and private.
