Bivalve ankle orthosis in rigid thermoplastic, equipped with foam inner pad with memory and gel bags for cold therapy. The design of the orthosis allows the use of it only with foam pads or in the case that we are interested in applying a cold therapy we can introduce the gel bags through the window that has the foam pad lining, adapting correctly.
Previously we should keep the gel bag in a freezer for 2 hours. In case of using the gel bags it is recommended to remove the malleolar protectors, located on the inner side of the leaflets. Includes 2 pads in the back of each strap to prevent chafing.
The indications of mod. EST-082 are the same as the EST-085 when they do not incorporate gel bags, and when it incorporates gel bags: Cold therapy and especially in sports practice when we want to obtain an analgesic effect.
