Effects: compression produces a quadriceps tendon just above its insertion into the tibial tuberosity minimize tensile forces on insertion. The silicone ball through contact with the skin produces a slip effect without excessive over-pressure (falling prevents the brace). Directions: Osgood-Schlatter disease.
