Features:
Thoraco-lumbosacral corset made of low density polyethylene of 4 mm and lined with padded fabric, which can be easily removed allowing washing and thus achieving a proper hygiene of the brace while protecting the patient from possible scratches. On the front it is located an adjustable chest support height, allowing us to get a full extension of the spine. Polyethylene, being a thermoformable material allows us to make adjustments on the brace by applying heat (before applying heat is necessary to remove the textile lining). The backplane is placed from the sternum to the pubic symphysis.
The backplane is placed from the middle third to half shoulder of the gluteal region. The bivalve Orliman corset comes with 15th lumbar lordosis.
It is closed by a velcro system on the sides of the corset and the sternal support. The sternal support can be adjusted in height and depth doubling the previous plate, allowing us to properly adjust it according to the physical characteristics of each patient. By design, it offers as one of its main advantages to facilitate placement in bedridden patients.
Effects:
The bivalve corset with sternal support allows a perfect immobilization of the thoraco-lumbosacral spine thanks to dos shells surround adjusted by a Velcro system, keeping the spine in full extension, preventing unwanted rotations and rotational movements.

Pathologies requiring immobilization of the thoracolumbar region as preoperative and postoperative processes column.
Vertebral fractures.
Herniated disc.
Osteoporosis.
Spondylolysis, spondylolisthesis, spondylolysis, painful scoliosis in adults, etc.
Torn ligaments or hypermobility of them.
Neoplasms occur degenerative processes of the spine.
