The Boxia® Plus anti-equine device keeps the ankle in a functional position preventing foot collapse. It enables a more natural and efficient walking pattern.

Sizes

The Boxia® device consists of 4 components:


A. A breathable and microperforated textile supramaleolar piece that wraps around the ankle. It has a back pad that hugs the Achilles tendon and provides maximum comfort, distributes the pressure, as well as having relief points with a soft tissue massage effect. It allows the regulation of the central anchor according to the perimeter of the ankle, ensuring that its position is always the most appropriate for each patient.

B. The device has a tensile elastic.

C. 4 pairs of hooks in "S"

D. 1 tongue with non-slip hook.

Effects: The Boxia® Plus anti-equine device keeps the ankle in a functional position preventing foot collapse. It enables a more natural and efficient walking pattern.

Indications: Weakness or inability of dorsiflexion of the ankle (equine foot) as a result of neurological injuries, congenital alterations or muscular disorders. Flaccid paralysis associated with hemiparesis.
