OUT of STOCKAxiom SP Fluid takes advantage of the Axiom Difference and is designed to provide greater immersion and envelopment, using a Hydrolite fluid bladder instead of the Memory Foam used in the Axiom SP Visco.

Hydrolite Fluid Bladder

Hydrolite is a non-Newtonian fluid that behaves like a solid under the force of gravity, but flows like a viscous fluid under a load, which can help minimize friction. It's also incredibly lightweight, eliminating the "weight problem" of other fluid cushions. It is also not sensitive to temperatures, which provides consistent performance regardless of the prevailing climate.

The Axiom SP Fluid uses a Hydrolite fluid bladder instead of Memory Foam. This bladder rests under the outer elasticized super sheath, allowing it to accommodate the tissues that support the ischial tuberosities.

Increased involvement

Axiom SP Fluid is designed to provide greater involvement allowing trochanters to withstand an effective load. This improves stability by widening the base of support and reduces the load that the tissues supporting the ischial tuberosities must bear.

High Quality Foam Materials

Axiom SP Fluid is made with high DFI and density foam. The dual-density polyurethane foam base offers firm support on the bottom layer with a comfortable and durable top layer. High-quality materials make this a durable, comfortable and high-performance product.

Surface Tension Reduction

The Hydrolite fluid bladder rests on the moisture-resistant inner sheath, reducing surface tension and maximizing the involvement of the ischia and coccyx. The bladder rests directly under the outer elasticized super sheath, allowing it to adapt to the tissues that support the ischial tuberosities. Using the super material of Lycra elasticized in 4 directions in the outer cover, the surface tension is reduced providing a better immersion inside its cavity.

Pre-conturized forms

It is important that all cushions have a proper pre-conturized shape. That's why we cooperated with Georgia Tech to study anthropometry. Axiom SP Fluid has a suitable design of pre-conturized forms. The Axiom SP Fluid is designed to provide greater immersion, allowing the trochanters to withstand an effective load, widening the support base and reducing the load that the ischial tuberosities must bear.

Axiom SP Fluid has an innovative cover that is aesthetically pleasing with functional benefits for both the user and their assistant. The super outer cover of Lycra elasticized in 4 directions reduces surface tension while the inner cover elasticized in 4 directions with self-closing zipper is resistant to moisture and easy to clean. The moisture-resistant zipper and its puller make it easy to attach and remove the cover while protecting the foam. It has an easily accessible front handle, with ties to hang accessories.
