• The rupture of the LCA is very common and is seen especially in adolescents and young adults practicing some sport (soccer, skiing, handball, ...)
• Studies show that women are 5 times more prone to sprains than men. The female ligaments tend to relax more easily, it is called laxity.
• Meniscal injuries occur mainly in athletes and manual workers who perform their work crouched (tiler, carpenter, etc.).

There are two types of knee pads for the patient that is waiting for its operation, during rehabilitation or simply for preventive use:
• Rigid fixation splints: functional supports indicated for ACL or moderate to severe PCL instabilities, ACL or PCL reconstructions, MCL or LCL weaknesses, as well as for preventive or convalescent use.
• Knee support textile: compression and maintenance for instability of ligaments from mild to moderate.
