Modular hip stabilizing orthosis that can be used interchangeably for the left or right hip. Made of low density polyethylene. Composed of a pelvic band and a muslera (both bivalves), joined together by an adjustable flexo-extension joint from 0 ° to 90 ° in 10 ° intervals and in abduction, at the 0 °, 15 ° and 30 ° positions °. The closures of the muslera are composed of two straps with velcro closure.
The muslera allows to modify the rotation and the height of the condylar pad to obtain a perfect adaptation. Both the pelvic band and the muslera, slide along the sides of the joint to accommodate the height of the patient.
The loops of the muslera are composed of two straps with velcro closure and the pelvic band is adjusted by a velcro belt. The inner lining of foam and the outer velor cover the plastic of the orthosis protecting the patient from possible chafing with the rigid parts of it, these textile parts are easily removable and washable, which allows a correct hygiene of the orthosis.
